IEC 61131-3 Development Environment

 

straton Integrated Development Environment

The straton Integrated Development Environment includes several tools as a fieldbus configuration tool, a analog signal editor and editors compliant with the five languages of the IEC 61131-3 Standard: Sequential Function Chart (SFC), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Continuous Function Chart (CFC), Ladder Diagram (LD), Structured Text (ST), Instruction List (IL).

 

Very powerful tools are provided for online debugging and simulating the IEC 61131-3 application. The Log window displays all run time messages sent by the target or by the simulator when testing the application. During step by step debugging, the Log Window also shows the current call stack and the list of installed breakpoints.

 

straton includes a wizard that builds a monitoring application for the project.

The monitoring application is operated by the straton Monitoring Tool for monitoring and controlling the project without needing the full Workbench.

In order to reduce the cost of solutions, applications for industrial control need to be built within short time. This can be achieved by reducing the time of programming and the time of configuration the industrial control project.

To reach this goal COPALP enhanced the straton product with the project automation. This tool gives the possibility to generate a part or entire application from a third party application.

 

straton allows binding between different virtual machines to exchange real time data through TCP-IP protocol.

An editor is delivered to manage the binding map with several straton projects.
