Advantech and Copalp present New POWERLINK Master Controller

November 16, 2011, Düsseldorf – Advantech and Copalp are pleased to anounce the integration of the STRATON 61131-3 Softlogic from COPALP in the APAX PAC (Programmable Automation Controller) from Advantech.

With the release of the new runtime engine, the APAX is fully integrating the IEC Standard Communication solution Ethernet POWERLINK into the Advantech product portfolio.

With the integration of POWERLINK, APAX offers now the ability to connect the wide range of available POWERLINK sensors and actors, including the complete range of B&R remote I/Os.  

      

The APAX POWERLINK solution offers its outstanding features like the Open architecture, Modularity, Hot Swap I/O Modules, High Density I/O modules, Backup SRAM, and extensive shock and vibration resistance.

The APAX CPU and its embedded Video DVI port allow supporting the Logic Process Control and at the same time it can be used as a full SCADA system.

The APAX is an All-In-One system which provides you Data Acquisition, Control and Visualization in an efficient and compact way.

 

The complete solution will be demonstrated on the Ethernet POWERLINK Standardization Group (EPSG) booth during SPS/IPC/Drives 2011 in Nurnberg, Hall 6 Booth 6-115 from November 22 to 24.
